WE ARE GOING TO VEGAS!!
Las Vegas is treating us so well!
Wow, what a gift to be able to share our work and ideas!
There are flying saucers, UFOs and aliens on hand to celebrate the landing of the Youth Educational Spaceship at Learning Village downtown with its otherworldly art installation and mobile classroom through Dec. 8 as part of the collaboration between Burning Man Project and Las Vegas’ Downtown Project. Kids also will love the robotics demonstrations that disguise the fact that they’re being educated.

We land at the Exploratorium in San Francisco tomorrow/Monday August 12, 2013. The spaceship will be docked out front for the week culminating in classes on Saturday August 17.
WE ARE LIVE ON THE EMBARCADERO ALL WEEK!
PRESS:
We are building a mobile spaceship classroom. This spaceship will be a spaceship/UFO classroom in the vein of a bookmobile. It will serve as a mobile platform for artists and craftspeople to educate and share virtually anywhere. The Spaceship will be designed and decorated by local children covered in an ever evolving lunar themed mosaic and design.

Inside, the windows and the main “bridge” will have educational videos with footage of the past, historical, ancient times…as well as outer space.
We will dock at schools, arts, science centers, playgrounds, you name it.. We will have an international docking station so that when our bay is open classes will spill out of the space ship onto playgrounds, gymnasiums, bookmobiles, sidewalks and the streets.
WE are looking for partners to help implement and launch us. We already have initial funding and support from Maker Faire, Black Rock Arts Foundation, The Exploratorium, Black Rock City LLC, Burning Man Project, The Crucible.
We have an Angel Investor! and are seeking further support so we can continue into the Fall/Spring 2014 school year. We are also seeking educational programs we can work with.
Heres one of our Spacecadets explaining her WORK!
